Mt. Blanca questions

hello, Shawn Williams from High Desert Cruisers in New Mexico here. i was considering going up to Mt. Blanca July 21-26.

Does anyone know if there's still a bunch of snow up there? the wife isn't too keen on camping around much snow.

#2- if the snow is pretty much melted, is anyone interested in going up that week or part of the week? i can't find anyone from here that can make it and i would like to have a second vehicle along at least (never done the trail before). my cruiser can make it pretty easy i'm sure, and my experience is pretty good (i pulled a trailer over the Rubicon and only bypassed little sluice).

thanks!

Cool Rig! I think the Group Usually Camps at the Bottom of the Trail, not up at the top.. I wont be making this trip, but i know atleast Vic and norm are planning this one!

here is a trip report from a few weeks ago, i think most the snow is gone!
