Gone Again
Well, as hard as I tried, I couldn't make the tree cutting on the 1st and 2nd. I left on the 2nd so that day was out. On the 30th, we moved a Cruiser, 2 old trucks, a future F-Toy (just a frame and axles), and my 87 one ton wrecker. Did I mention that none of them ran and it actually involved having fun with my Cruiser getting them all moved to get them lined up for the trailer? Worked most of that night and got a couple of hours of sleep.
The next day, (the 1st), I was not able to run my half-marathon as we were so far behind with all the things we had to do. We got most of the rest of all my junk, parts, etc out of the old house. Once again I worked into the night, but didn't quite get everything. My wife and Glenn's mom and dad (the Glenn that was in the CLC about 10 years ago) got the rest out of the house by the 10th when it sold. I got about an hour of sleep that night and went in to work the next day at 1000. We started the day long process of getting on the plane. So, when I get back, we will finally have $$ to spend on Cruisers, and more time as I will not be working on the house getting it ready to sell. (At least 5 nights a week, most of 07 I spent at the old house working on it) I will hit 19 years in 08, so hopefully upon return from Iraq, I will be retiring. Also got word a few days ago that my little brother-in-law will be going to Elsworth AFB in SD, so that will mean I can go wheeling in the Black Hills when we go see him. I am going to try to post pics from over here of Cruisers I see. I still haven't posted the ones from the last time I was here. (Did I ever mention how I was day dreaming about Cruisers (as I had just seen a 55) when the side of the road exploded next to our HMMWV the last time I was there!) The few times I did get to do things with the club this year I had a blast, as did my little Noah. Hopefully this 15 months will fly by so I can do much more wheeling with you all in 09. __________________ Originally Posted by BHMCruiser: People.
