How long of a trip do you estimate this to be? I have to work that night but would love to go.

Trail head is probably 45 minutes or so from the meeting spot in Woodland Park. Figure on the trail by 10-10:30. I would guess it wouldn't take more than a few hours to run it. You could always turn around early if need be.
You should come.

I am probably jinxing myself by saying it, but I should be in for this one. It is terrible that I have not been to a run (other than Christmas tree cutting) in the year I have been home. The only question is, my Cruiser or the Mrs? I guess that would depend on if she works or not?
I may be able to hit the first weekend of Christmas tree cutting this year also, BUT, I will be getting on a jet airplane the next day to go to a sandy all expenses paid trip to a much warmer destination.

Where would be the best place to park a truck and trailer near the trail or in Woodland Park?

Wow! should be a great turnout! A guy at 4 wheel parts told me lots of people are heading to Metberry this weekend, could be interesting,
Don, If memory serves, there is/was a parking area on Cedar Mountain Rd. and the turn off or there about.
All right, back to work, gotta finish the toy so I can join the fun tomorrow!

Just want to thank everybody for a great run on a great trail! You guys are top notch!
I would also like to thank Don publicly for going so far out of his way to get Reuben back home to Lakewood after his unfortunate water pump incident. That truly is a demonstration of one of the reasons the Cruiser community is different from all others! It's the people!

Don is a stand up guy. I heard him pick up his 40 around 10pm, so hopefully he will be home by now.

Yep, a great trip!
A few more pics - excuse the composition, most were taken by sticking my hand out the sunroof I've straightened them out a bit.

Trevor - can anybody make an album there? How do you go about it?
Also - we talked about the fate of the 80 in the Baja 1000 on Saturday - for those that missed it, here's the post-mortem: http://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.p...07#post2743807
It's not good - but the truck held together through a hellacious crash and everybody walked away.
