Great turn out for the meeting! we filled the room up
and got a good amount accomplished! We had 1 new member Join, as well as one member interested, I hope to see you guys on a trail ride or another meeting soon, and Welcome to the club Elections where held! Vic Is still the President Andy is still the Vise President Mark was Elected Treasure Jeff was Elected TLCA Representative and i (Trevor) was elected Secretary We Planned our First Trail Run February Sat 24th we are going to China Wall (and/or another trail in that area) More details to follow Trip Planning - We are going to have a Trip planning meeting for those interested Next Tuesday the 23rd.. Location - Village Inn west of I-25 on Garden of the Gods... The Plan is to Hash out some ideas on where we want to go this year, put together a tentative trip plan, then next meeting we will finalize everything.. Andy is going to be working on Clothing for our club thru cafepress.com, Mark already has found some stickers! I am working with Darryl to do some work on the web page, and possible change of our web host! (based on the numbers ive seen in the Secretary's reports it looks like we are paying $13 a month for hosting) We could go thru another company or i could host the site with my host for about $5 a month.. UP to $10 a month if we end up using more bandwidth at a later date! I am also working on New Cards to hand out to intrested members, or place on trucks.. We will vote on a design next meeting.. Overall great meeting, i am enthused and excited about this year, i think its going to be a good one for our club! I didn't say it at the meting but I think that most people that were there have the same feelings.
Thank you to the officers of the club for the service that you have put forth this last year. At times you all have wondered why you have done it and I am sure your families have asked the same. The members of the club do appreciate your efforts. I've been very happy with my company (http://www.site5.com). They are currently offering a package that the club will never out grow (or have to pay for extra band width). For $5 a month you get: 55 GB of disk space, 5 TB (yup that's terabytes) of month band width and can host up to 55 domains (web sites, not that that really matters). Plus, they have the best tech support that I have found. They also guarantee 99.9% up time (that's money back). __________________ 2004 Tacoma with a bunch 'o stuff and body and paint by Tree and Rock, Inc. |

site5 sounds good, Ive been with about 5-6 different hosts in my days of webhosting, I used to go with the $5 a month Deals and found that i could never get the uptime, and customer support that the Extra $ was worth, Ive finaly found a company that treets me good, and at $25 a month i cant complain.. Soooo many of these companys are flyby night setups.. We will figure it out down the road, i guess it could be consiterd a conflict of intrest..
Thx for the Location Jeff! Trevor __________________ 1976 FJ40 TBI350 700R4 D300 SOA Locked 37" PBR's Protected by REDLINEColorado Land Cruisers - Club Redline Land Cruisers - PM me for info on our products or to order! CrAwLoRadO.com |
