Please note, regarding the upcoming Pike & San Isabel National Forests
Plan Revision public meetings, there are some corrections in address
locations and the Fairplay meeting has been rescheduled to a new location
and date. If you plan to attend one of the public meetings, please
view the updated flyer posted on the Forest Service website at
http://www.fs.fed.us/r2/psicc/projec..._mtg_sch.shtml.
Most important, Tuesday's meeting in Denver is at 1580 Yarrow St. in Lakewood - not on Allison.

Yup, I'll do a summary in a day or so. They had so many people show up that they turned people away. There was about 150 people (best guess) at the meeting. The Forestry Supervisor said they will set up another meeting in ColoSpgs in the very near future because of having to turn people away. So you may get a change to go after all.

There's now a second Colorado Springs meeting planned as noted below:

For info & special accommodations call 719-553-1400

Help us focus the next 15 years’ management on the Pike and San Isabel

specialists about the future of the Forests and share your ideas about
major elements of the revised Forests land management plan: desired
conditions, objectives, guidelines, suitability of areas, special areas.

********SECOND COLORADO SPRINGS WORKSHOP********

To review the workshop agenda, download a copy of the worksheet,
and to find other information regarding the planning process,
go to the Forests revision Web site shown at the bottom of this
flyer.

Your participation throughout an entire workshop, particularly 6:00 -
9:00 p.m., is encouraged, as you will be able to share your ideas
about what you think is working well on the Pike and San Isabel
National Forests, and what you think should change.
