Dare I eve who my face in here?

Dang! Maybe my "n" and "s" weren't working? That was SUPPOSED to say "Dare I even show my face in here" lol. I could screw up a wet dream I tell ya...

I must admit my heart is beating a little faster than normal, lol. I wonder who in this forum will guess who I am? Part of my screen name is a hint, I'm sure.

Looks like you guys are doing GREAT and I miss you all (there's another hint). I might join your fold again (at least in Cruiser ownership) sometime soon, and thought I'd poke my head in. I wonder who will is here that I know???

Yo, Steve, wondered where/what happened to you. You had a pristine, what was it, an '83, blue? Looks like you ended up back home right? You should see the snow we have here! Makes it fun to drive a 'cruiser.

Good to hear you are alive and kicking.

Darryl beat me to it, but as soon as I saw the user name I knew!

I often talk to people and your name comes up.

For those that do not know, Steve was very instramental in getting our club going.

He is, I think THE one that started the interest, put ads in Thrifty Nickle, etc., And got everything off the ground.

Anyone that went to the Rally in 97 remembers him as well. Those pinion nuts can cause problems!

Stay in touch Steve.

Don Hawkins

Hey guys, you did guess correctly! Yeah, I wound up in NC for now, but who knows what will happen in a few months. I went to Iraq in '04 and landed back here because of a woman, lol. Of course, that's over and now I don't know where to go LMAO!!!

BTW, my FJ40 was an 81, and yeah, I became the poster child for replacing your pinion nut with every pinion seal change. What suckage! I still can't believe that truck didn't roll when the carrier locked up. I miss that truck. I was actually kinda eyeballing the new FJ Cruisers and that's what brought me to this site. I saw one in blue yesterday and I think it's the same blue my old Cruiser used to be and that got me wistful.

Hey, is Vic Ramsey still around? If so please tell him I said hello and that I made sure his truck was in good hands.

I miss you guys!

yep vic is still around! nice to here from an old member

the FJC's are pretty sweet.. Read up on the forums before you purchase one, you can get the ATrac for next to nothing, and also hook up the Rear locker and a-trac together, makes the little FJC a pretty sweet rock Crawler!

CO is always waiting for ya!
