Christmas Tree Cutting Rampart Range

Everyone That signed up should have recived an e-mail with phone #'s and who is attending..

Dec 2-3, and Dec 9-10 Meet at the Western at 8:15.

From what i gather, this is a chance to Test out your recovery equipment and help unstuck a bunch of Soccer mom Suv's that are up cutting trees off rampart range.. Anyone who is not on the list, should post up when they can attend and Shoot an e-mail to David (Secretary@ColoradoLandCruisers.org) who is orginizing the event..

I May not be able to make the first weekend.. Ive found a Crack in my Crossmember due to a bad design on my part it needs to be fixed before i take it anywhere

Oh, and its supposed to be Cold and Snowy the next 4 days, so it could be a long day on saturday!

Well I don't know how many pictures were taken, but it was very cold up there. Saturday was a some what busy day. Sunday was a day that we all could have stayed home. The Forestry and Pete pulled more people on pavement than we did in snow (actually, none of us pulled anyone out).

On Saturday, David's group had a recovery that took about 3 hours (something about a truck frozen into a pond), and Vic and I had a recovery (actually it turned in two at the same spot and same time) that took about 2.5 hours (a truck that was pulled off the road by his trailer and a Forestry Ranger with a bad front differential and wrong size chains).
