indepencence trail system

Finaly made it down to Watch some people at indy.. Erick(the blue Scrambler) and i went down and watched his dad break in his new Bronco Crawler.. We only ran freedom, and found that his coil springs where getting cought on the shock body..

After that we went and watched some guys run up the exit to Patriot. .. Absolutly insane climb out of there.. We saw a $70k Buggie break his 3rd link on the rear and caused a bunch of other damage.. Winched him up it, and watched a $10k Toyota walk right up it..

So.. can we put Indy on the trip schedual??

id like a Cage, Front locker, Hydro Assist, a good skid plate, sliders/rear fender protection and tube fenders before then, But i cant wait to run that trail!

I say we throw caution to the wind. Let's take a barely running full bodied FJ60 down there tomorrow afterwork and do a night run.

I'd really like to make it down there sometime and check out the action.

I don't think I'll need an "excuse". It'll all be gone anyway.

Any time you want to run it let me know. I will hopefully have everything done soon. I have quite a few trips under my belt on that trail.
The quickest being less than 30 minutes, the longest 24 hours (twice).
And I am 5 minutes from it. if anyone ever breaks and needs help, welding etc, let me know.
We had talked about a New Years Day run at the last meeting. Two years in a row, I did Indy with some people and it was a blast.

Let us know. I'd be down for a passenger seat, or I'd even walk the trail and watch.
