I've supported Blue Ribbon Coalition for years, and I know many of the members of IH8MUD have as well.

This is your opportunity to upgrade your forum status to Silver Star AND 100% of your subscription goes to Blue Ribbon!!

WHAT?!?!?

Starting TODAY, March 1st, any CHECK mailed in for a Silver Star will be donated 100% to the Blue Ribbon Coalition!

...you can finally get your first star...
...you can extend your current star for another year...
...you can donate a star to a friend...
...or you can simply donate!

ALSO, for 3 days only, March 15-16-17, all Paypal Silver Star Subscriptions will be 100% donated to Blue Ribbon Coalition!!

Simply put....if 250 people mail in checks or renew via Paypal, I will cut a check for $5000 to the Blue Ribbon Coalition,
courtesy of the membership of IH8MUD. The more who Subscribe, the bigger the donation!

Paypal transactions MUST occur on one of those three dates...if your star renewed in February, you can extend for another year. If you have a continuing subscription set up, you can STILL add a year on during this time. If your membership expires March 12, you can either 'stall' your renewal until the promotion dates OR mail a check in now!

FINALLY...Paypal takes a fee from every transaction...while I REALLY prefer everyone does this via check, I know some will prefer the ease of Paypal...IH8MUD will 'absorb' these Paypal fees and 100% of your $20 subscription will be forwarded to Blue Ribbon.

You know... Firefox has an add-on called morning coffee. Hit the 'morning coffee' button once your eyes are open and you have your coffee, and all your favorite web pages come up at the same time. That way you can look at the blue board, Mud, GLOCK forums, the Sacramento Democrat (haha), and Facebook all in one seating.

won't work...since ANYTHING that comes in via paypal during those 3 days will be 100% donated...you send $21 to cover the fee, and I'll send that entire $21 to BRC

I'm on the road for two weeks, getting some rig work done, then headed to TDS Desert Safari this weekend, with Death Valley after that, but WOWOWOWOWO, Woody and everyone here, AWESOME. THANK you for what you're doing and for this example you're setting.

Now I have to look for my check book here in the motorhome, or wait until March 15th so I can PayPal? Boy, so many things to think about.

We're making BlueRibbon the big dog on the porch. Some of you have heard me say that before. But it's true. We need all our current organizations doing their thing; but we need a dog that when he steps off the porch, people who don't like us will be AFRAID. That is BRC.

Woody, I might have to not only take my hat off to you, but I might have to figure out if I can wear it backwards???

was just reviewing stats....there are over 10,000 'active' registered users over the past 60 days...if we get 2-1/2% participation, that's 500 users....at $20 each....
