Has anyone out there looked into what it would take to put one of these things into a FJ-40? If one looks at the spec's it looks pretty favorable. 190 HP @ 2600rpm and 387 lbs/ft @ 1500rpm. Thanks for your time. Yoder
I think it's an easy swap, it's just that nobody has ever documented it. From everything I have picked up/heard, don't wheel it too hard, it's got too much torque for the factory toy drivetrain.
i beleive there was an fj on ebay just in the last week that had the isuzu diesal on it....reserve was like 7000 or so...looked decent, just needed a spring over. might be still up there if yall look.
