FJ's and HD's
Just curious, how many of you out there also have Harleys. I mean real Harleys, not a Garage Eye Candy chopper that is made to look at. Those are the same guys that drive H2's and never get them dirty. BTW, I ride an '03 Road King.

All at once, no. I have done a couple of Iron Butts, but I've never rode all the way from East Coast to West Coast (or vice-versa). I have rode a motorcycle in almost every state, though, including Hawaii.

My cruiser has indeed gotten dirty...
...three times now. BTW, If you build or wrench your own bike, that is cool, too. It doesn't have to be a HD, but it can't be garage eye candy.

I have learned not to talk about Harleys on here. Most people on here do not like them. Not sure why, but to each their own. I myself like both.

dollar to chrome stuff bought ratio is one way to look at it.
Doesn't even have to be chrome, just non-functional stuff. In the first year of ownership I'm proud to say my ratio is 10,000miles:$100 if you count the semi truck stack pipes I built. They're functional, but mostly just sound better than the stock pipes. Buddy I ride with is 900 miles to about $4000 on a brand new Road King. ![]() If I counted clothing with the brand name on it, he would be way over that. |
