A note of sympathy for all the Democrat cruiserheads

Sorry you have party leaders like Gore, H. Clinton, Dean, Kennedy, etc.... It's just sad. No political party is perfect or without it's demagogues, but these people are just an absolute joke.

I mean who are these people? Al Gore lectures the White House on Constitutional law? Remember when he defended Bill C with "no controlling legal authority"?.... 'nuff said

H. Clinton sounds shrill and just plain unlistenable. She puts down the police, goes to visit the troops in Iraq and of course cuts in line in front of the troops for dinner (Bush waited in line out of respect for the soldiers, HC has no idea what that means). The idea of her being President sickens and disgusts me. God help us if she's elected.

At least we all have the love (obsession?) of Toyotas in common.

You're criticizing Gore, Clinton, and Kennedy when you have the King Of All Fucktards serving as President?

HC would have nobody to cut in line if Bush hadnt sent them there under false pretenses.

Thank God we have the Cruisers to keep us all friendly.

I hate these political threads, why do I get sucked in?

Save your sympathy for a demographic that doesn't regularly pull in 40%-50% of the vote. Libertarian Cruiserheads...now there's a group that needs your sympathy. We don't get any love. After you zealots and ideologues get through raping America, all we have to stand by is the principles that this country was founded upon. Y'know, the ones you piss on.

I was a Libertarian (capital L) once.

But the Libertarian movement is all but dead. It's mainly a bunch of pot smokers who sit in their mother's basement watching Gilligan's Island reruns, leeching off her Social Security checks, while hoping the Libertarians get enough votes to decriminalize dope.

Sadly, Libertarians can't even get elected dog catcher.

So a lot of us, realizing the Libertarian movement is all but dead, are now libertarians (lower case L) who have gone back to the Republican Party for lack of a better place to go.

Oh, and BTW....

AYN RAND RULES!!!

Because the Republicans are doing just a great job now that they control the government. It took the Dems 30 years before they imploded. The congressional repubs are gonna do it in 10.

Lets look at your "leadership"?

Bill "I diagnosed her from her videotape" Frist
Tom "Don't drop the soap" DeLay
Dennis "I see nothing. Nooothing" Hastert
Dick "Lord Vader" Cheney

and the man who will go down in history as the Worst President Ever.

Nice group

I guess we didn't have enough threads that deteriorated into political badgering - this one starts with some baiting?

msahr, delete it. please. while you can. There is still time.

Not sure what your point is - that the 'publicans are all upstanding politicians?

Hillary "Plantation, you know what I mean" Clinton won't get into the white house - don't worry too much about that.

Typical well reasoned and well thought out democratic comment. Your parents would be proud of the way they raised you to respect others. This kind of remark certainly raises the debate to a new level, and gives me new respect for your opinion:flipoff:

Yeah I thought about deleting the thread since it degraded to "You suck!" "No, YOU SUCK!!!"

What I simply meant, is that the Dems have people speaking for them (whether you agree with them or not, they ARE speaking for you, and if they aren't, who IS speaking for the dems?) that make comments that are just flat-out bizarre, laughable, and silly. Reasonable people, democrat or republican, would probably agree. The leaders and top speakers of the Democratic party are obviously intelligent people who have points to make and something to say. But why say it in such ridiculous ways?

And for the record I voted for W. Bush twice. I am not completely happy with what he's doing, and I will admit that, I'm not just going along with everything just because he's the President. However, he is far from our worst President ever. And no, I don't think Clinton would be "worst" either. Close, just not worst.

But do you believe that the Republican leadership (Frist, Hassert and DeLay) is a reasonable representation of your views?

I personally think spending $80 million to make up the Clinton scandals much worse than the blow job, BTW.

Yeah, terrorist attacks that happened under Clinton's watch with no response from the US. Its easily argued that our weak response lead to 9/11. Somalia. Bosnia. North Korea revamping their nuke program. China getting information from the US for their missle program. An economy that was skidding in the last year of his office. Sure, peace and prosperity

We ask for what we get from both parties. We don't want politicians that are gonna tell us the ugly truth, we want guys who blow smoke up our asses and know a good photo op when they see one. We want guys that are gonna cut our taxes, but fund the shit out of everything we can think of, not some one whose gonna tell us there ain't no money left to cover the bills. We vote for whoever promises the most for the least and has the shortest criminal record or drug rehab stay.

What we need is someone looks and talks like John Wayne to us, tells the truth, that things are fucked up but fixable and everyone is gonna have to get up off their whiney asses and help.....and mean it.

That's what I think anyways....

Nope. Obviously not, I stated before that I don't automatically agree with everything. I do agree with some things. Honestly I don't have time to know everything these people say or their opinions.

We had deficits with Clinton too, it's just a matter of fact that big govt will spend more than they take in. I hate that W isn't very fiscally responsible. But no President will ever be fiscally responsible enough for me.

War? I'm leaving that one, it's way to hot to touch.

I'm not sure what you mean by the last one.

Hey who does you hair?

Democrats are people (in general) ruled by their emotions. Republicans in general have a more moral center as Christianity plays a much bigger role in their party and their lives. I’m not saying they’re perfect, nobody is, bit I give you this to show the difference between the moral/political bankrupt, backwards political ideology of the Marxist democrat party, and the republicans.

The Republican Party believe it's wrong to kill *innocent* babies in the whom (or outside the whom with partial birth abortion) and that it's morally correct (in fact they have a societal responsibility) to kill murdering rapist scumbags through state sponsored capital punishment.

The democrats think it's fine (more than that, necessary) to kill *innocent* babies in the whom, but that it's WRONG, and how dare we kill murdering, rapist scumbags through capital punishment. Look at all those idiotic Hollywood freaks that came screaming for Tookie Williams. The rat bastard killed four people in cold blood.

If that doesn’t explain the difference between the parties, and how morally bankrupt the democrats are I don’t know what is?

To the Marxist democrats the world is GREY!
To the conservative right the world is black and white.

Dont waste your time hammering me for whatever Bush has done in office. Im not happy with much of what he's done. Whatever he has or hasnt done in office, he's infinately better than Gore-bachev or Kerry would have been!
