That's why I'll never be a moderate and I dont believe in moderation in politics. You have to sacrifce to much of what you believe in, on either side.

Look i disagree (to the billionth power) with the democrats, but at least they believe in something and they are willing to fight for it. The same goes for my side. Moderates dont deserve that respect. You cant have it both ways in the current political world we find ourselves in in the United States.

P.S., there really is no need to get your panties in a bundle. If you disagree FINE! You dont have to insult people in the process!!!!!!
Have you ever thought that maybe you're the one who's way too far off on one side? Could it be that most people are more moderate/centrist, whereas you admit to being on the extreme right.

Why don't moderates deserve respect? You say that you agree in principle that people should work together, then you state that people can't have it both ways. Well, which is it?

As far as panties being in bunches or bundles...to me, it seems as though you're are pretty bunched up...or at least they were when you posted this.

Nah. The confusion is due to my poorly executed post/joke. There is nothing to backtrack. I meant contentious. A play on words with conscientious. Sorry - I thought you were on it, and playing along.

It didn't help matters that these <explitive> were trying to continue with the thread while I was trying to be funny.

I would sacrifice principals. In a heartbeat. Then I would get rid of the teachers (except the auto shop teachers). After the school system is sacrificed, then come the unions and the other public servants.

That alone is no longer worth my blood pressure or worry.

If we could have a constructive debate over issues, I'm in. People that have become masters of the photo op and talking points game?

Come on...

I don't hate Clinton. I do not know why people take Bush so personally.

I agree with those that said we ought to have a little more respect.

Hey, I got it--I just was out to lunch at the time, literally.

And I got the "sacrificing principals," too.

I appreciate the subtle humor.

I'm trying to be funny now and not contribute to the negative attitude. However, if you insist, we can get back into it with the flippin' illegal immigration stuff.

What do you prefer: wordplay and stupid jokes, or insults, hostility, useless rants about intransigent problems, abortion, unions, communism, how to spell potatoe, dogs and cats - living together, and the like? I'm down for either one. Say the word.

I didn't just come out of the whom yesterday. Let's go.

I have to say, this thread is rich with comedy in all the usual places but with a higher concentration than normal. It has exceeded my expectations.

Thanks Steve, where was I? Oh yes - as I was saying, dogs and cats - living together, handicapped kids, welfare moms, medicaid, secret service agents who kiss and tell, kournikova's sweaty camel toes, 4 wheeling muslim insurgents who are well-spoken and funny, wetback wanna-be presidents, (anyone else I left out?) - oh - gay marriages, gubs - can't forget the gubs -

bring it on!. I'll clash keyboards all day.

By the way, check out the giveaway. It is for real now.

Yeah, I just went back and read up a little from yesterday - some really funny stuff throughout. This thread may pan-out to be much funnier than the 'pathetic sole' thing.

You're right, we are far right wackos...

gun owners' rights
less taxes
smaller gov't
no more welfare
pro business
no more foreign aid

And yet, we got love for the left as well...

gay marriage/adoption
legalize all drugs
legalize prostitution
no limit to freedom of speech
complete separation of church and state
open borders (see no more welfare/pro business above)

Come on down to the Libertarian Party, folks! We've got somethin' for everyone!
