| Nice work Jim...did you position the truck so the first few belches of smoke from it dirtied up a few new Infinitis for good measure? And to appease to the Cruiser gods? (they know it's going into a Cruiser)
When you get it home, let me know if you need any help ripping it to pieces...especially if you're removing parts with a forklift.. (did that with my dad in AK once..man removing engines is way easier when you can just lift it and bounce it up and down mercilessly!)

| am i a tard for wanting to run the 14blt ff in the rear of my wagon?
reason i ask is, i was going to keep the stock l/c axle up front and run the ff in the back. 6 lug front, 8 lug rear
is there a conversion to do a 6 lug rear? |

| yeah there is a conversion. However it is pricy.
My reccomendation..
Sell the 14 bolt and get a 9"
Strong enough and a lot easier to get 6 lug

| BTW, is it a dually?
If not, that rear is gonna be a whole lot wider than the front..

not a dualie, but i could do spacers in the front, maybe.

| you can run the cruiser rear but you might have vibrations.
Rear should be around 65" you would want the front that wide or a bit wider.
Lots of spacers..

will definitly go back to moab, like to see alot more colorado trails.
i'm not gonna sit and hammer the skinny pedal at all.
mostly slow and go.
the wagon needs some oomph, i like the V8 idea for mountain roads and it is a semi daily driver.
first reason for getting it was for the transmission for the low gearing, then i figured, why not do the V8. |
