I'm thinking just replacing with new stock spec Toyota parts would probably be fine. It's right on the edge and in the summer it might not even be an issue - the gas shocks are definitely wimpier when the temperature is low.

ok i get you. i was talking about a short delay, not a 10 psi delay. if there is a lot of storage 10 psi could be a lot of air...

Seriously, if it wasn't a salvage title, and the frame was intact, that would be worth repairing.
