Retired co-worker now says the shooter starting goin whacky a year ago...pretty fast downward spiral, he was reported but nothing happened, and that no one was giving him trouble, more like he would bring it up

well i will have to say if this is not terrorism than timothy McVeigh should not be called a terrorist. if you read the readers digest interview with McVeigh than he was just a crazed lunatic that blew up a building. and was crazy enough that when threatened his friend in fear for his family's lives helped him.

it doesn't matter but you're taking the easy Fox news angle, he apparently didn't have religious issues with it, yes he was against the war but he was scared after listening to the horror stories, if anything he could have been a conscientious objecter like Sharham stated.

But one of his former commanders is now saying he used to talk about how muslims in the military should "stand up" against the injustices of the war.

There was a police officer shot in Seattle on Halloween night, two nights before that 5 squad cars were burned up in a moltov cocktail incident, no one is calling it terrorism, or a terrorist act.

If it was politically motivated, with the intent of furthering a political agenda via the killing of innocent people, it's terrorism. If it's a workplace "FUCK YOU I'M GOIN' OUT WITH A BANG" maneuver, it's not terrorism, I don't care who the shooter is. The religious beliefs of a mass murderer have no bearing on whether or not the act itself is terrorism. Terrorism is a special kind of crime, it is qualified by its own criteria. You can't just bandy it around because the guy is a muslim.
