You know what else about federal buildings. You have to take off your cowboy boots because they don't pass through the metal detector. I hate that shit. (cowboy boots have a steel shank in them)

you try that shit at the range i used to work out and we'd boot you out within 30 seconds. not even 30 seconds. probably 15 seconds, and if you'd point your gun anywhere except down range you'd have a 100% chance of getting shot after 2 vocal warnings

what i aint a hillbilly because i no longer sleep with my 12 gauge, it was not my fault i caught the little lady with it and well i had to put the shot gun out.

My only worry about it is all my guns are chambered and ever 8-9 months I'll have a nephew come visit and I feel like a tool when I have to make them wait outside while i put the guns in the safe

How'd you like to be an Army psychiatrist who has to deal with guys like thisilldefend's anger issues and deep seated hatred of Muslims day in and day out, coupled with the guys who saw atrocities and horrors they have trouble living with? Throw that in with an upcoming deployment into a war you have a religious objection to that will separate you from your only support structure.
It wouldn't take too much of that to drive someone over the edge. Most guys would quit, seek help, or kill themselves. (as a truly horrifying number of soldiers have in the last 8 years) Once in a while it sends one of Shahram's loners over the edge.
I really hope IF THAT IS WHAT THIS WAS that people will look at this and see that their own bigotry and irrational hatred may have helped perpetrate this
but I suspect what will happen is just more of the same. Blame the brown guy with the marginally different religious beliefs that lives next door for the actions of another 2000 miles away. Keep any guy who may look a little overly tan in your sights at all times. God forbid you treat them like a person. Take back Americuh!
OTOH maybe the guy was a terrorist. Since the other thread was hijacked and got moved I haven't looked at it. Is the guy in Orlando a terrorist yet?

I think what is neglected is the fact that this physician & soldier, who swore to protect this country and ideals and do no harm, killed his own comrades, presumably (presumptuous) because he didn't want to go to a war zone.
He killed to avoid war.
