| I love racing!!! I spent the weekend at the Ridgecrest SNORE Midnight Special race.
The fun included being a co driver in a class 12 Racecar. My god that car is fast over big bumps . Unfortunately, we only made it 34 miles and blew the motor.. But damn, that was a good 34 miles!!!

| I fully agree. As much fun as a guy can have with his nomex on. We ran a class 11 car in the 1,000. Unfortunately the first driver blew up the rear brake drum 3 hours in. I also worked for a guy who owned two class 2 and a class 5 car. We had a ton of fun in Mexico in those cars. |

No I had one as a kid.......maybe not just like jasons but I was hooked. I had to give it up cause logging roads played havoc on the suspension. I ask the wife about getting the vw I found recentlyand I got the smack down. Damn..I am jealous Quote:

Except for class 11 cars, if you touch one of those, you are DQ'ed.
Perfect for my puss ass

| I help out with a class 7 open truck. We're in the process of replacing the suspension and plan on being completed by Primm. There is no way I could afford to enjoy this without the help of the team and the generosity of the owners.
That being said, the people in the racing community are great when it comes to welcoming newbs to the sport. I have found that if you really want to become involved start going to races and volunteer to help out where you can. It leads to bigger and better things.
