| I just got back from New York and I saw that guy with the Ninja sign. Funny as hell. Here in Atlanta the bums just ask for money, but in New York they tell jokes, in New Orleans they dress up funny, and in San Fran they do funny things. Atlanta got screwed in the creative bum category......

Maybe just a fluke, but a few times I was approached by some fairly big, healthy looking bums that said something like "Give me some fawkin' money!!!" I was so caught off guard the first time I encountered this that I just started laughing--usually in NYC you get some huge sob story that you have to listen to as you walk down the street, so I guess I found his honesty and urgency somewhat refreshing. 
Still didn't give him any money, though.  Ah, well, call me a hard-hearted son of a bitch.
