Stolen Seattle Cruiser
Came home from vacation on Wednesday to find our house had been broken into and my cruiser gone. luckily they didn't touch anything else, just keys and the truck. Yesterday a buddy of mine spotted it on I-5 South near downtown, still has my plates on it. he followed them off the Union st exit but lost track of them on the surface streets. He said it is still in the original condition nothing stripped yet. If my fellow Seattle mudders wouldn't mind keeping an eye out i'd appreciate it. The cops are aware of its theft and feel free to call them if you spot it.

Sorry to hear that. I can feel you, some asshole broke into my house last weekend too. Didn't stel my truck coz it is on the stand  But lost over $2k and the damn window cost me $600 to replace!!

Bummer, I figured no one would want to steal an 80. They are old and not very desirable to make money off of. I better start locking mine. Good luck getting it back!

I know that horrible feeling in your stomach when someone rips you off. I used to live in SCal and I had that feeling alot.

What is with this area and stolen cruisers? Why didn't they take mine? I could have used the insurance money to buy another. Must be the lack ARB. I'll keep an eye out.

I work downtown for SPD and I will keep an eye out for it. Make sure that if you or one of your friends find it, not to drive it away! Call 911 and have an officer come out to where the vehicle is so that it will be taken off the hot sheet. You don't want to be pulled over while it is still listed as "stolen", trust me

When you get it back you should give me your bumpers and winch to attract less attention so you can avoid this happening again, ,,seriously that sucks and good luck getting it back do you have the serial number on the winch, you can contact pawn shops and see if they have taken one in I would think that seattle shops are requierd to report the same way we do here in MT(leads online), if someone pawns the winch, it will go on line and show up but only if you report the number to the police.

I'm located in Sand Point, but drive around the downtown area fairly often. I have a trip to newcastle later this week as well. I'll keep my eyes out and call the cops if I see anything. What area did it go missing from?

cops called last night. They found it and arrested the driver. They said it is in good condition. We'll see when we get there.
