They throught the remains in a burn barrel and that put off and smell that casued the neighbors to call the popo. The popo discovered a bloody mess and the remains of the dog and ended up charging the guys with animal cruelty. one of the guys arrested was a Vietnam Vet. In hi interview he stated he had eaten dog often overseas and he and a chum were drinkin when they kilt the mutt. Said he probably would not have done it if he had not been drinkin.
One of the deputies said, "You might think I am sick but if I did not know this was dog I would eat it, looks like a good cut of meat!" Apparently it tastes like chicken with the consitancey of very lean beef.
So - why can't one kill a stary dog like one can kill a cow or a deer or a pig or boar?

The reason I mentioned 36V is the high availability of robust motors, battery chargers and speed controllers for the golf cart industry. With a battery pack made of D or F sized NiMH cells or the new Li-ion cells being used in power tools you can get very high voltages in a small pack. The controller and battery chargers then become the issues. Where to get it or do you have to roll your own? Motors are also harder to find. Another thing to think about is higher voltages require more protection circuitry to meet code. NEC and SAE both have something to say about greater than 50VDC in a vehicle.

Supposedly this is o.k. because the formation of ice dams and the presence of water on the roof is greatly reduced at temps below that... |

No real major since the floor was clean and the five minute rule was invoked. I gathered up the ball and kneaded it by hand on the counter. It is rising now so I am hoping it works out. I put it in a loaf pan and scored the top for a more traditional shaped loaf that I am waiting to put in the oven.
I love fresh bread and am hoping a disaster was diverted since we went to the Hippie food store to get some special stone ground WW flour. Next loaf that I make I will either make sure the bread machine is wedged in or is not so close to the edge or I will just knead and bake in the oven the old way. | Steven dropped a two pound loaf on the floor
