My thinking exactly. I keep on my person a money clip with license, CC's, insurance card and money in it; change in the other pocket with keys and pouch with 4 blade pocket knife on belt. The old style cell phone goes in a pocket in the fishing shirt. That is all.

Also, while on the go, I can use the Zumo to place calls to particular POI's like restaurants/hotels/airlines etc. by using touchscreen. The Zumo is XM capable (I need an antenna for that yet) and the rig is set up to prioritize tasks. It sets phone calls first, then XM/MP3/FM, then nav duties. By going through the Zumo, these priorities are maintained and don't fight with one another.

And Baton Rouge is a college town? We have more pizza joints (brick and mortar not even counting just delivery ones) than we have *$'s in Tallahassee.

The only nuvi that's waterproof is the 500.
I'd just get another Zumo mount for the XR and another for the Cruisers and Dodge and just switch it between vehicles. It only takes a few seconds to dismount and mount it.

I thought the 550 was too. Or 510. Whatever was next on the list on the Garmin site. Also does hiking and such.
