If the clutch is shot, I will do that later cuz I did not order the parts but I ordered the special tool since it was just $12.
I also plan on doing a little tuning and extra cleaning. That should get me going if the clutch is not blown or I discover something else wrong.
I did take note that the shifter and left peg are bent but there is not damage to anywhere else on the bike. I do not think it was laid over, I think it was damage from just mishandling it elsewhere. I am concerned about this. I am unsure I will be able to straighten either one and can not really tell where the bend is in the shifter. I am hoping it is the pedal itself.
I did not see foot pegs on Beatrice. I may have missed them. And one of my buddy pegs needs replacing. |
what is wrong with the main peg?
beatrice has buddy pegs for your year. i ordered some and they are nearly identical to stock.
the shifters can be bent in a vice or on an anvil. all the shifters i have look different from twists and bends so that i can't tell what stock is supposed to be. i bought one off ebay that looked great and it was bent so bad it wouldn't fit on the bike.
