I agree with you, flexible mounts all the way.

I bitched about it so much, she doesn't even bring it up any more.

I have a towel older than him.
My mom gave me a towel a couple of years ago that was my all time favorite when I was four or five years old. That was 30 years ago.
My boys use it now. They think it's cool that it used to be dad's.

If you must know, 4:30 the alarm goes off. I hop out of bed, check on the boys.. make sure they're still covered up, go to the kitchen start a pot of coffee, while it's brewing I put wood on the fire, then I get the computer going and start catching up 'till the coffee is done brewing.
When the coffee's done brewing, which is around 4:45am, I pour a cup and head back to the computer for about ½ hour of ketchup before it's shower time.. 5:15 am.
From shower time to out the door is 35 - 45 mins. I'm walking out the door sometime between 5:50am and 6:00am. If it's below freezing, I like to get ready quick so I can get the truck warming up while Michelle is making my lunch.
The standard show up time on jobs is whenever the foreman gets there, you're already there, or just pulling in behind him. The foreman I'm working with likes to get there at 6:30 even though we're starting at 7:00. He's a great guy and wouldn't mind if we showed up at 6:45, but I really don't mind showing up a bit early and listening to Stern while finishing my coffee.
Aren't you glad you asked?

I linked how they would drop clams and crabs on bald guys heads and cars. We were all laughing one time after a gull was dropped a pilfered clam on a Mercedes. The owner was wondering what we were laughing about then we pointed to the seagull which was about to drop the clam on the car again. THUNK!! it went and the owner let out one hell of a string of curses. The gulls seamed to know which cars were solider than others.
