If I remember correctly kaypros were CPM so they were compatible with all the other CPM systems. There was a short lived version of CPM that merged in may UNIX traits that many busisness conputers were going to when IBM showed up with DOS and derailed advancement. DOS was only a warmed over and deliberately incompatible CPM for the 8086 processor.

Should be is it a full sized keyboard or compressed? They rarely deviate from qwerty for a reason. It is just some of the small laptops have compressed the keyboard some to fit.

True dat. And I will not have removed the rear seat in the 73, so if need be, I can carry one in the front and two in the back.

BTW, I had sprakplug drama today. I took the ST90 to the movies and enjoyed a couple of films. The bike was running most EXCELLENTLY and hit a top speed of 47mph indicated. Damn, I was impressed. Well, after the movie, I was about 2/3's of the way home and I got the faltering stumble that seemed to indicate a need to go to reserve. I did so while underway and then went another block--stopping at an Exxon station to fill the tank. Well, imagine my surprise when it only took .24 gallons. It should NOT need go to reserve when merely down .25 gallons, so I was left scratching my head.
In any case, I kicked her back to life and started on toward home and about a 1/4 mile along, the bike just died on me. I tried everything I could think of and it was all to no avail. I wound up walking the bike on the sidewalk for about two miles the rest of the way home. I'm fairly certain that the problem is fuel related rather than electrical. I'm also suspecting that there might be a clogged filter on at least the primary. Oh well, we'll see. I just know that when this thing is running, she runs really strong and it is amazing that even with only the three-speed, she kicks teh bootay.

yes, but they and the others (other than Joe Lieberman), were all in the general seating area on the ground or the mall, and NOT in the VIP section of the scaffolding. If you're in the VIP section, you ought to feel you owe a certain dignity to the ceremony. A ball cap doesn't cut it. A presidential inauguaral is about as formal an occasion as it gets in this country.

fwiw, make extra sure you turn off the fuel lines until you figure it out. one thing on old carbs to watch is the float. if fuel gets inside the float it will get stuck open and stall like that. if that happens the fuel can drain continuously through the carb and into the cylinder head, wash away the lubricating oil and foul the crank oil and also drain right into the exhaust and then fill it up to the height of the fuel in your tank. that happened with my second ct200. naaasty.

I always turn off the fuel; however, in this instance, I turned off the fuel and then drained the carb by opening the screw knob and letting it drain. Hopefully, that will eliminate any problems such as you mention.

If it were me, I would think of storing lighter bulky objects above the wheels in some sort of bins and stash the heavy bikes in the trailer itself.

Me thinks the same.
A tongue mounted rack would work for one or two and another one off the back to balance. I'd think the tongue would need extending if you put two there. One, no problems.
