I almost fell bad for Bob Stoops...almost!

I thought it was a good game, although the Fox NFL crew sucks at calling college games.

Now I'm curious...does USC or TX or UTAH end up ranked higher than OU? At least one of them probably will, all three of them have arguments (Utah undefeated, TX 12-1 and beat OU, USC spanked Penn State).

In order: FL, UT, USC...well those were the teams that had convincing wins. Texas seems suspect to make it past USC.

Got to give Utah kudos and ahead of USC. They were undefeated and took care of business. FL... they won tonight.

I was thinking USC would be up there at #2 thanks to the convincing win and the solid performance of the Pac-10 in the bowl season (thus negating the "weak conference" argument that haunted them all season). Utah's victory over 'Bama was impressive, but I don't see them getting up to #3 due to the strength of schedule. Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part, but TX, despite a tight victory over OSU, played a stronger schedule and beat OU in a neutral site. I would expect (or is that hope?) to see them squeeze into #3 or #4, depending on where OU lands. They will be hurt by the Big 12's bowl performance for sure.

Florida, Texas, USC, and Utah all played teams that were over rated. This year was the worst bowl match ups that I've ever seen. It ran afoul, again. I can live with Fla. taking it though.

Oh please, TX Cruiser. You couldn't have been a bigger supporter of Oklahoma in the NC game before it all shook down if you tried. You talked it up like we were going to get smashed without concern and the Big 12 would prove that it was the uberconf.

Admit it, we held our own and played a good game which we won fair and square. Stop talking like OK was overrated... if it was you were one of the worst supporters of that mindset

Sorry, I couldn't resist! Texas had a great season considering the team is stacked with underclassmen, our only loss was to a (then) #4 ranked team, on the road, on the last second of the game. We Beat Oklahoma and we beat a solid (but not great) Ohio State team in the last minute of the game. Frankly, I think Florida would have beaten us this year, and maybe USC and Utah, too. But that's the curse of college football, we'll have to leave that to speculation.
