Now it's time to get accessories, web gear, bayonet, and all the bells and whistles I used to have with my old one!
Yeah, I'm dead when katie finds out.

Same place also had a Carbine verion. Beautiful, in excellent shape.... But you think I'm in trouble now, I can only imagine how bad it would be if I had gotten two of them.

My Swede (and Fred's most likely) is 6.5mm Swedish Mauser. It's a fucking sweet round. More moose an other big game have gone down to that caliber than any other most likely. The gub pundits will tell you that it's underpowered for big game but the game animals don't know any better, they just die.

See? That's cool. Ammo is cheap too, unlike the esoteric American calibers like .35 Whelen...

My FR8 is 7.62 NATO, which is kinda boring but that's okay, it's a backup utility gub for after the zombies come, so it's good that it uses military ammo.

I has my SKS for Zombie killing.
I just need some NATO grenades and all that to match its launcher

Yup, 6.5. Easy and pleasant to shoot, but deadly to whatever it hits. Because the bullet is about 4 times longer than it is in diameter, it tumbles like a MF upon impact, rattles around inside like Pac-Man for a while, and leaves a nasty wound path.
They've been used on bear for years and years with great success.
Nice flat trajectory too, so even at distance, it's easy to hit what you're aiming at.

Ben & Jerry's? Ben & Jerry's!!!??? There is nothing that they make that can't be bested by the Little Creamery in Brenham. Blue Bell is the shizz and that's all I'll buy here.

I also have a .264 Win Mag that came out in the 60s, which is similar to the Swede's characteristics. Unfortunately, it never really caught on with Americans, but I think it was one of the more underrated cartridges.

Or, you could buy some IR lamps--they would heat directly and also help the paint dry faster. Of course, I have no idea if that would work out. . . .

There was a guy who owned a coffee plantation in Costa Rica who had a coffee house in Bar Harbor, Maine, that was opened during the summer. I spent a good hour talking to him when I was there, his dream was to open a second location in Aspen.

Now it's time to get accessories, web gear, bayonet, and all the bells and whistles I used to have with my old one!
Yeah, I'm dead when katie finds out.
