Apple lawyers seem to be hard at working removing the comparison video from YouTube. You can still bypass the block though and view it via this link:

If they had been in the US, and had insurance like my company is peddling, it could have wiped my parents out at that point in their lives.
They did get a bill from the hospital though -- $12 for a few long distance phone calls made from my mother's hospital room.

Mrs Surfpig is at at a neighborhood meeting about the local railyard re-development plan: they want to do some housing, shopping, etc...
All the NIMBYs here are all, NO!
We have plenty of well-connected people living here: attorneys, senators, lobbyists, a former pro basketball star mayor living in the neighborhood... all there to weigh in on keeping our little piece of paradise intact...
If we are against sprawl, why are we against projects that utilize open urban land to minimise that sprawl?
Again, Mrs Surfpig might not get a seat on the local neighborhood association committee...
In her former career, she did the site assessments for the area...

I just got the charity wines from jsaltlick (to support Kliers' daughter's leukemia treatment), and they were delivered to my name at the Center - someone adult had to sign, but they did not insist on ME signing
I will report on the quality of the wines as we drink them
as far as I can tell, they all from Chile (NTTIAWTT ) - well, maybe except for the Champagne

We had a tow truck set off another alarm. Then I watched my neighbor's dad come out and pay the dude the $78 not to tow his caddy. This after I had to drive her to the tow yard last week to pick up her car that got towed.

see, that's my point
honestly, I agree with the manufacturers that it is not the innocent syrup per se
it is that fact that they ADDED it to every damn possible food, including bread
and they did so knowing it would stimulate desire for that food product
thus, they were feeding addictions - at least in those prone - without scruples

I think I should organize a mass-buy of homes in some economically depressed area like Rochester or Michigan or Beloit. I'll be old enough that I won't care about the schools, me and my friends could afford palaces and cut our incomes in half without too much trouble. We could arm ourselves and start a neighborhood watch.
