No, I'm afraid not. In fact, I have an orphaned 10lb tank myself . I just got a Puma 12V air compressor for my truck, and I like it . Airing up is about 5 seconds per pound of pressure on my 35s. And I've seen it run a 3/8" impact that makes about 300lb.ft- and run it well.

But I hear raving that a PowerTank is the shiznit on a '40...

I've seen a lot of COBRA horror stories... Hell, when I left the county, the COBRA payments would have been $1200 a month.

We're lucky that when I left the co-op that the COBRA plan was so affordable. It was the same monthly cost (within a few bucks) as my employer's plan, and it allowed us to keep seeing the same doctor where Katie was getting all of her tests done...

Yup, should have just dove in and done it, but I just didn't have the time and knowledge to take care of it. Can't believe I diagnosed it myself and then had a parade of clowns show up. Moral of the story? Plumbers don't do electrics, they leave that to their HVAC people.

Anyway, cheapest house call fix ever, especially considering it took four guys.

Oh, you're one of those legit massage people. I was wondering why the other kind would bother with licensure, what with having to change the business name after each raid by the vice squad and all.

OK, so the conclusion I reached in the gym is that I need to start lifting again regularly. I actually really enjoyed it when I was lifting 4-5 days a week and made some pretty significant progress. Plus I can take my frustrations out on the weights. Not that I'm really frustrated. So my plan is to do 45-60 minutes 3 days per week and keep up with the running.

They don't fill at all here, the full tanks come on a truck and the empty tanks go back on the truck to the regional fill facility 70 miles away

I'm liable for 25-50% of everything other than regular doctor visits. (labs, x-rays, surgery, ER visits, etc...)
30-50% RX drug copays

Best yet, almost NONE of those copays count towards my deductible!

So, I'd be paying $4800 a year for the privilege of paying $8000 a year out of pocket for health care, so that they can pay only 50-75% of anything!

Holy fucking shit! And people wonder why Toyota would rather build plants in Canada and deal with Canadian taxes, regulations and Unions than build hereand pay our healthcare premiums!

Looks like we picked the right time to be joining them, too.
That's the state plan? I've got a $3k deductible for my entire family.

Conclusion # 2 is more significant. If my 3rd po-po option doesn't pan out, I need to start making other career changes. Walking away from the Borg in this economy would be stupid. But I really need to start moving forward doing something I enjoy for a living. It struck me that as far back as 2nd grade I received consistent feedback from my teachers similar to: "Cube Dweller is bright, but easily bored and distracted." I find it incredibly difficult to force myself to really mentally engage. It's not task driven work; it requires me to take the initiative to make progress. And that's tough for me. I envy people that can force themselves to actively care.

So, I need to stop fucking around start making progress towards my own business and/or employment with a company that makes a product I can care about. I need to believe in the mission/product/goal.

fucking idiots

I asked the ER people to dilate the patient and said I'd be there in fifteen minutes

I got here twenty minutes later and they hadn't put the drops in yet. They fucking ordered them from the pharmacy when they are stocked right in the ER!

Now I have to sit here for fifteen minutes and wait. It wouldn't be so bad if the entire trip wasn't already a waste of my time

You'll get to the part about why it's not a state plan in a few posts. I work AT the state, not for them. I actually work for a consulting firm.

If we stay in Sac we need to buy a place so I can set up my shop, pull a business license, get some insurance and start building and selling ornamental iron stuff like gates and decorative screen doors. The ghetto screen doors are ugly. I've got some concepts around truly ornamental screen doors that would also be very secure.

And I want to start building some cruiser stuff that may or may not sell but would be great for a portfolio. I really would like to to one-off custom fab jobs for people.
