The Peter J Peterson Foundation ran a full page ad in one of the WSJ's I read today, warning of the huge debt loads our gubmint is taking on. He is becoming my more favorite member of The Illuminati.

It's a big garbage night tonight. Last week we were leaving for camp for four days, or so we thought, so we didn't put the recycling bins out. They are now overful, including the extra ones, plus we brought back alot of stuff from camp that generated garbage or recyclables.
I better get on that before it gets much darker and colder...

DakotaDawg walked and supper is on the stove... unfortunately the load of wash I put in the washer has caused the darn thing to back up... I HATE PLUMBING!
Draino to the rescue (hopefully) but I think I am going to have to take off the inspection cap from the sewer line and wash it out or Roto-Rooter it. Darn!

About a month ago, I diagnosed I needed a thermocouple for my furnace.
Three weeks ago, a plumber came by and said it might be the control panel or the temp sensor in the water tank, also, but he didn't do electronics, so he was having his HVAC guy come over.
HVAC guy never came, plumber #1 stopped returning my calls.
I went on vacation.
On Saturday, plumber #2 shows up, says it is probably the control panel, and he'd be back Wednesday.
Wednesday comes by, plumber #2 doesn't show, but his HVAC guy does, and he says it might not be the control panel. Mrs. Jman is home dealing with this, so I'm getting it second hand, but it sounds like . . . it needs a new thermocouple.
