and this is the very first time I've flown one-way where I have NOT been selected for heightened security screening. It was a breeze getting through security.

When MrsDD woke up this morning and saw the stuff I was taking along, she made a face and asked, "Is all that going to fit on the bike?" To which I responded, Most all that will be WORN while I'm on the bike, and the little that won't will be in the system cases. She was dubious.

MrsDD took me to lunch and then to the airport. We enjoyed fantastic italian garden salad with additional artichoke hearts and salmon. Nuts and bleu cheese. It was the bombdiggity.

All my tickets on my last trip were one ways that were purchased within 24 hours of travel. I thought for certain I would get pulled over to secondary. The closest I got was leaving Orange County on my way to Vegas. They opened my purse/carry on and pulled out a bunch of 'liquid' type stuff that was not regulation. They let me keep it all except for the protein shake

I did get a stern warning that in the 'future' I needed to obey the restrictions and carry liquids in a pint sized ziploc. I did not heed that warning and still made the remaining legs of my journey without incident.
