On the same day one of my uncles died. He just turned 91.
He was still bowling a couple weeks earlier...

So what's better?
Long life, or just having it snatched away?
I sure don't want what my dad had to deal with in the end, but jeez...

Well, I won't be carrying in Beloit by any means, unless I change careers.
When I carry, it will be on a trip that takes me outside of Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, or Iowa. IN the last five years, that would be ONCE I was in a state where my permit would be valid.
Probably the next time I carry, it will be on a trip to see you in the spring for an ADV ride or something.

Though I've read either on ADV or F650.com that experienced motorcyclists and concealed carriers do not recommend riding while strapped. It's not of much use underneath all the gear, and it apparently hurts like a motherfucker if you go down and land on your gub.

Fred I've decided that you need an HZJ73 for Montreal. Just like that Volkswagen thing but better. Radd Cruisers has one with electric lockers and a winch.

This sidecar is awfully tart. The next one is going to be made with limoncello instead of lemon juice.

very very nice rig but i don't see him selling that very quickly even with the novelty factor. the 1hz is not that great a motor and the 13bt is not that bad a motor to justify that big a price gap. A bj73 with cable lockers is $10k and the cable lockers are more reliable. If you need more oomph a hdj81 with a 1hdt and e-lockers at $15k is a better deal, has more power, is at least as good offroad, and a way better tow rig.

Hey Fuckers,
Still knee deep in shit to grade, fucking climate lectures and to add a little spice to the mix, home improvements.
Hung up Xmas lights this weekend and getting ready for cellular shades.
Xmas lights required rewiring the outside plug and repair the PO's "handiness".
I removed our "temporary" shades in prep for the new ones. Do not leave adhesive in place for 14 months. It actually removed the drywall texture from one window and other parts. I then spent several hours with Goo-Gone to remove the rest.
Never could get all the adhesive off. I had the joint compound out so I went all and just skimmed the sticky shit with compound.
Fuck it all, UA class done on 12/12 and Pima class on 12/18. I will be one happy fucker.

I think Katie's rather curt "No bloody way you're spending $27 thousand for a 1992" indicates you're probably right.
