Holsters like this are very convenient and popular with plainclothes folks who have to put on and take off their holsters with any frequency. This is also very helpful for a CHL-holder who works at a place of business that will not allow carry on premises. With this holster, you need not remove your belt to remove the rig. Here's a shot of the back side:

I don't like them at all either; however, they hold the virtue of being removable. They are very old school and not often seen anymore.

I have a holster like that for my P7 from BladeTech. I like it alot, very convenient, actually too convenient, the ability to take it off easily is why it was sitting in my center console when it was stolen.

You fuckers know what I mean.

Here's the deal: if there is no hammer for the user to touch and cock, then the weapon is hammerless and can only be fired DA. If there is something that tries to hide the hammer but still allows access for cocking, then the proper term would be shrouded and the the weapon can be fired either DA or SA.

If it's a 342PD Airlite Ti then that's a good deal if it's in good shape....

keep this in mind: if you want a snubbie for concealed carry and you also want to be comfortable--get a lightweight model. Best to pick one that can handle at least .38 +P loadings though. This means probably more modern type. These gubs are NOT a target proposition, they are purely for the purposes of allowing comfortable daily concealed carry.

Also metal fragments are usually pretty shallow if they get embedded, so an ophthalmologist could see them with a simple exam.

If you really really need an MRI I'd get examined and get a simple xray to look for metal and then not worry about it.
We're always grinding and drilling pipe, drilling holes in metal etc... In fact, I got some metal shavings in my right eye today.

When I get an eye exam, the eye doc takes out my contacts and shows me all the rust spots in them from metal shavings that get embedded in them. I always wear safety glasses when doing any drilling/grinding.

What I notice most of the time is the metal shavings get stuck in my eyebrows and hours later I'll wipe my brow and they'll fall in my eyes.

I hear ya. The revolver I have now is for putting a lot of rounds downrange. This snub will not.

This is the aluminum airlight version. Its new. Its a fair price compared to what I've found in town and on gunbroker.

The gubs that are my near-constant companions are the P32 or the 337. When I'm on duty, it's the GLOCK 17 with the go-fast switch. And that switch is the ONLY reason I'm not carrying my P7M13 on duty anymore . . .
