that last part seems unlikely. do you not go around corners in azirona or have you found a dirt road commute?

Simpler to learn to use. Semiauto pistols have variable manuals of arms and you need to practice that quite a bit with each different gub before it becomes second nature. Revolvers are much simpler and there are fewer variations.
The heaviest handgub ammo is only for revolvers or single shot pistols, yes, but that is a specialized thing.
Only a little bit bulkier but that is an issue for everyday carry weapons.
The only other downside is relatively less ammo capacity and slightly slower reloading compared to semiauto pistols.
Anyone that tells you that revolvers are obsolete is either an asshat idiot or sorely mistaken or misinformed.

I agree with you, but you know as well as I do that a LOT of cops just want to dump the case into someone elses' lap and be done with it. They'd prefer not to be mentioned in the report--for fear that they'll be summoned, etc. Some veterans even take a perverse pride in practiced skill in dumping cases--either onto junior officers or other agencies. And they feel they get double bonus points if they can dump the shit into the fed's garden . . .
I totally disagree with this notion but you KNOW that it goes on.

not always. Especially when you're talking separate sovereigns (fed vs. state/local). The wise prosecutor issues summons for each and every witness--even supposed "friendly" LE witnesses.

If I carried a revolver, it would have a concealed hammer, or a ring hammer that won't snag on clothing.

Thats one of the big problems with my current revolver.
That hammer's gotta go for a daily carry.

It's a Galco pancake holster--open top, so the only retention is the screw tightening and your own awareness.

The hammer shrouds can be problematic for holstering. The best way to do it is get a regular model and bob the hammer (if need be).

Any holster that has retention straps will have difficulty with a hammer shroud. It's best to stick with the regular models and bob the hammer if needed. My AirLite has the standard hammer and I've carried it for many years (ankle and waist) and have never had a porblem.
