glad that it worked out that way, and you'll have the time to tinker

Pizza night here. We made a big batch of dough and will make four biggish personal pizzas. Mine has traditional pizza sauce, hot turkey sausage, red bell pepper, mozzarella, and home grown Serrano pepper flakes from the garden of surfpig.

Australia does seem to be kicking the wine world's ass pretty hard.

what's the one with the Koala or the penguin? I think it's Australian, but one or both of those didn't live up to my expecations of Australian wine.

I can't remember the name of it, but there was a Portuguese wine that was in an opaque bottle that was very decent for the price. Much better than I expected it to be. I think they either changed the bottle or are no longer to be found.

hmmm, I think after we get thorvalddottir2's stitches out, I might have to sample some more wine. I'm sure it will help with my cold

(side note: how is the labeling of dottirs done? is it 1 for the oldest or youngest?)

the Little Penguin is I agree. That's "SouthEastern Australia", probably Victoria or NSW. I think they use that nomenclature so it sounds like South Australia, which is a proper state. I get the impression that the Little Penguin is the Charles Shaw of Australia.

I had some fucking awesome wines in Victoria, but I was being guided to them by my in laws, who live there and know the good stuff.

We are using 1 for the oldest, like Charlie Chan's "Numbah One Son"

yeah--I was sweating that, because I'd already found what I wanted to buy before I'd ever even posted the ad to sell mine. The one thing that heartened me though was that the seller had been trying to sell his Beemer for over a month already and, while there was interest, no one seemed to be stepping up to the plate. I think that was due to the higher miles though. There's a LOT of bikes going unsold right about now.

South Australia also has some amazing fucking surfing beaches....the eastern part of the South Australia coast is apparently one of the top ten driving tours in the world. We saw just a hint of it when we were there and it was pretty fucking cool. We need to go back...

Maybe 10 to 20 minutes for the loading part. It depends allot on how easy it is to get the silage from the bag and how far I parked the TMR away from the end of the silage bag. I take a towel out with me. I use it to wipe off the tractor seat and to lay over my lap to keep the snow from melting into my pants.

It's been a wet sticky snow and is keeping me from doing some repairs to my truck. It's blowing into the end of the barn where I normally work.

The long thorn on thorns we have at the farm would have gone right through those wussy assed flip flops. Even steel belted radials get punctured through the belts by them.
