Well that's just it. Didn't realize how a factory roof rack getting guillotined off a 12 year old truck would bring out the need for the human lie detector.

You have no way to deal with your life and the scum that you have to deal with (or not deal with because you are here so often its tough to see you have much of a case load which of course brings into question your actual ability in your chosen profession).
So you deal with nefarious individuals and you've honed in your skills and can tell that everything I say and do is one big lie. Normally I laugh and shrug it off to your stupidity and need to feel like you want to be involved with my life so you give a crack at stupid comments to feel like you are part of it. My life MUST be more interesting than yours because you seem to comment on it so much more than your own.
I feel for you. I do. One day you will find happiness in your own life instead of living vicariously through others, including myself. Until then enjoy and comment away because it makes you feel better to get the last word in.

I promise you that I am a very happy person. I have a job that I love, a family that I love, a child that I love, an awesome dog and a fulfilling life generally. I just think that you are chock full of bullshit.
I don't deal with nefarious people on a regular basis. Most of what I do is deal with relatively normal people who disagree about something very strongly, and I try to get that disagreement resolved to the satisfaction of my client. Very rarely do I have to deal with an absolute scumbag.
I find it hilarious that, when you post up on Mud, no big deal. When I post up on Mud, I'm a shitty lawyer who isn't busy enough. No logical problem there, right?
Mud is very informative, and often very entertaining. If you didn't say things that weren't true, I wouldn't post something saying so. Pretty simple.
That being said, in an effort to have a more cohesive community, I'm going to drop this line of discussion in this thread. Feel free to comment further, if you'd like.

When I post on mud I'm not randomly slamming some guy's original post because I think I'm a human bloodhound on the scent for the next great scam artist. Evidently you are. So when you try to call me a liar you better believe I am going to come back swinging. Just because your Alabama life doesn't elicit anything worthy to post here doesn't mean others do not.
I am still trying to wrap my head around why you think anything that is more interesting than you has to automatically be bullshit.
I hope you really are telling the truth that you have a job that you love. That you have a family you love and that loves you back. I really do. Because that means that I no longer have to worry that you are some out of work lawyer going through a divorce because he cheated on his wife with another man and is one bad episode of a drunken stupor away from putting a bullet in his own head.
For this I am grateful. Now go enjoy your family!

Careful, you'll be called out for lying as well and just make yourself a target for his next rant.

ROR, Joey, just fill in the holes and paint it over, you don't need the factory rack. As for parking rates, yeah there are some higher in the financial district up here, i made the mistake of having to park at one for 1.5 hours. I did that once and only once.
As for Fatticus, yeah he's annoying and seems to be full of himself but what can you do? He reminds me of those annoying Lt's that have all the answers. Anyone who'd rather watch a football game then go enjoy the outdoors is a tool in my book. I do love how you goaded him into not being able to keep his mouth shut and trying to have the last word. priceless.

Rumor has it, the headliner is really not that fragile on the later model 80s.

Hopefully, there won't be much damage. Not much holding the factory rack on or the nutserts in the sheet metal.
You wanted to remove the factory POS anyway right?
Pics will be necessary!!!!!

Well I was eventually going to remove it when I finally got my INTI. But we all know that isn't going to happen anytime soon. So project #728 just got bumped up a few hundred notches. Hope it doesn't rain too soon.

Just got off the phone with them. They recommended getting at least two quotes on it. If its anywhere near $1k I'm not going to bother even reporting it and just deal with it. Besides, here in CA if there is more than $750 of damage my wife gets a point on her DMV record.
My deductible is $1k so it would have to be WELL above that for me to consider it. They also said because there was not another vehicle involved there isn't much else they can do because I would have to go after the building myself IF, and thats a big IF, we decide to go that route.
So we'll see.

Pics will be coming tonight. I'm dying to it myself. Now trying to decide if I am going to Line-X the roof or not. If I do, then what color and what shape?
