OIC the parking brake is a drum brake on the hub. My original axle is long gone. I can probably figure an electric parking brake, I wonder how much juice it would take...

Mount a deep cycle battery on the trailer and figure out a way to limit a certain amount of current to the actuators? As a short term parking brake?

the brake drum holds the lug bolts so he switched it all out when he changed the axle and hubs to fit the cruiser rims.
i does love the handbrake on the m101.
