I wonder how a thread looking for a vole like creature sparkplug attachment for the snow would go over in Mudbay?

I think he does a great job
I'm sure that the reason things are done is some people can't control themselves in the classified threads or tech so in order to be fair the mods have to get rid of all the extra chat.
it would be cool to find one for a decent price, but with that I'd expect to get similar answers that showed up in the Jart thread

if I were going to post a "there should be a forum for" proposal it would be a catchall canuckistani classified, buy sell rigs tires stuff, etc.
so many things are no longer a deal once they get the exchange, shipping, customs, etc added in
plus a lot of folks wanting to sell shit don't want to deal with the hassles of international shipping

embroidery files are pretty much all on floppies, because that's what the machines can run directly (they can be run on a wire from the 'puter, but that doesn't always work as smoothly), plus the files are tiny, so you can fit 50 or 75 on a floppy disk
It was a PITA five years ago when I was doing it, probably a lot more so now that floppy drives are starting to be unobtanium

yep, when we first moved up here, there were actually two businesses under the same roof, an embroidery/trophy shop and a gallery/framing place, I eventually ended up doing framing, but spent a good bit of time with the embroidery initially
lots of fun to be able to make your own custom shirts
