I can recall at least half a dozen FJ62 owners that have been told by a mechanic, often a Toyota dealership mechanic, that there was something wrong with their TCM or some other electronic transmission doohickey, none of which exist. It comes up on the 3FE list all the time.

in that case the transmission connectors don't need cleaning either because there aren't any.

Yes.
Also it's still possible that the transmission is fucked. A seized torque converter will cause some of the symptoms grrl is experiencing.
The FJ62 ECU goes into a "limp home" mode when it loses some of its important sensor input. It then tends to run rich.
Two of those codes, if they were correct, would cause the truck to not start. It wouldn't even turn over. So I don't believe them.
We are left with the TPS, which she has been struggling with.
The other possibility is that the codes are not useful at all and something else is wrong. I've seen this many many times.
It's actually a pretty easy truck to diagnose if you know its idiosyncracies and have a good understanding of how it all works. I learned them and then sold my truck. 
In person I could diagnose her problems pretty quickly. I've been trying to do it remotely for a couple years without much luck.

And with that I am out. I actually have a pretty busy day tomorrow, not much of a day off. In the morning I'm going to buy and begin to install a new garage door opener. In the afternoon I'm working the ski swap intake. In the evening I'm going to the members only ski swap and dottir1 is having a Halloween party and I'm taking dottir2 out trick or treating. Throughout the day I will be helping prepare for the party as well.

The school function went well.
800 middle school kids at one time and place is something I've never experienced before.
Seemed like they all had fun. Nicholas had a good time hanging out in the gym shooting hoops.

MrsDD and I went to book signing tonight and got to spend a few moments with the author--our friend of over twenty years. She's the very smart, HOTT writer who has the top-selling business/non-fiction book on the lists currently (the Warren Buffett biographer). It was interesting too, as this particular bookstore has a living room sorta feel to it and they did a Q&A session prior to the book signing. There were a lot of finance geeks there and I think she has a stalker . . .
After the signing and whatnot, I picked up a book that screamed the name of a particular TUTter. Here it is and it's on the way tomorrow. Fucker. You know who you are.
