Our power was out for two hours. Just came back on. It's pretty windy out, that's probably why.
The episode served as an educational exercise for the family. How many of us had a flashlight handy? One, me. How many of us knew where to find a flashlight? Two, me and Mrs. yooper. Could the children find the headlights I bought them at Christmas and that I have found in random places several times each and given to them with admonishment that they should keep track of them? No.
Also I learned that the candles that I strategically placed all over the house so there was at least one large candle in each room have almost ALL been relocated to the living room.

THE A440F TRANSMISSION IN THE FJ62 IS NOT ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED. THERE IS NO TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE. IT IS MECHANICAL AND HYDRAULIC. IT GETS NO SIGNALS FROM THE ECU.

They also had IFS and coil springs and cruise control and other modern shit. The FJ62 is a real LandCruiser, and therefore just a bit old fashioned.

so if we rule out those sensor trouble codes directly affecting the transmission, is it possible the rpm sensor issues are causing a fuel supply issue.
