Time change has been a political football for over a hundred years and it does make sense in an agrarian setting. and the fact is that we are now back on so-called "normal time". It's only in the summer that we do the shift, so that we can have more light--as Claudia desires. Oddly, it appears that Claudia is arguing that we should NOT shift back to "normal time" for the winter and prefers to think of what is done in the summer as the norm. In essence, what she seeks in a universal one-hour shift year-round.
