What should I brew?

I finally got my shit straightened out enough here to be able to start brewing again, but I can't make up my mind on what to do up first. I'm thinking a wheat beer for the rest of Summer, but I'd like to get a batch of pumpkin porter going so I can let it age until October when it'll be REALLY good. Then again, a smoked porter sounds pretty damn good too.

Help me make up my mind!

Not a huge fan of Belgians. They're good when I'm actually in the mood for one, but my preference is for darker stuff or the heartier wheat beers.

If I had the wherewithal to start brewing again, I do a Barleywine. If you start now it should be good by the time the weather turns cold.

I'm not much for pumpkin (or any other vegetable) is beer. That stuff always turns out nasty for me.

Honestly though, I've never had any luck with fruity beers (good, but not great results) until I did my pumpkin porter. I tried a pumpkin stout before that, which was okay.

I've always wanted to try a barley wine. Maybe I'll give that a go when I invest in some higher quality equipment.
