have you discussed this with your doctor? have you or the kids been tested for lactose intolerance ?

if your kids have real issues, it's not something to self-medicate on

Ok, so I'm working on the sprayer to get it ready for spraying the beans. Many corroded electrical contacts. Just cheap faston connectors with no environmental protection.

Just popping in to pop out but I was wondering if the "Almond Milk" products had some of the same problems as the "Soy Milk" products do...

I almost bought a half gallon of the Almond stuff today but thought better of it... I think it is a product of Diamond Almonds of Kalifornia... anyone have any experience with this stuff... does it have an aftertaste?

The Blue Diamond version has no aftertaste at all. In fact it tastes so good it is deadly to the pocket book. I mainly restrict it to use it for camping and trips due to cost. I've been stocking up on it for the Yellowstone trip. No need for refrigeration till opened. I only see it in the 32oz boxes here. Nice size for a meal plus a bit.

My daily dose of destiny, under my sign
My eyes just about popped out of my head
It said "the stars are stacked against you girl, get back in bed"

I feel lucky, I feel lucky, yeah
No Professor Doom gonna stand in my way
Mmmmm, I feel lucky today

Well I strolled down to the corner, gave my numbers to the clerk
The pot's eleven million so I called in sick to work
I bought a pack of Camels, a burrito and a Barq's
Crossed against the light, made a beeline for the park
The sky began to thunder, wind began to moan
I heard a voice above me saying, "girl, you better get back home"

But I feel lucky, oh oh oh, I feel lucky, yeah
No tropical depression gonna steal my sun away
Mmmmm, I feel lucky today

Now eleven million later, I was sitting at the bar
I'd bought the house a double, and the waitress a new car
Dwight Yoakam's in the corner, trying to catch my eye
Lyle Lovett's right beside me with his hand upon my thigh
The moral of this story, it's simple but it's true
Hey the stars might lie, but the numbers never do

I feel lucky, oh oh oh, I feel lucky, yeah
Hey Dwight, hey Lyle, boys, you don't have to fight
Hot dog, I'm feeling lucky tonight

I feel lucky, brrrrr, I feel lucky, yeah
Think I'll flip a coin, I'm a winner either way
Mmmmmm, I feel lucky today

The 510 needs significantly more power. Here are the options:

1. Retromod Engine: A high school buddy worked at one of the top Nissan race engine builders for 10 years. He and I went and pulled a core from PNP a few weeks ago. He recommends I have his old employer punch it .120 over, add a cam and a higher compression head. It will be a 2.3 liter when done, probably around 160-180 HP, running a downdraft weber carb. I would run a stock air cleaner with stealth ventilation so it would look OEM, but be pretty fast. Would still have the inherent issues with carbs. I would also source a 280zx 5 speed for it. Or I could keep the "dogleg" 200sx 5 speed that's in it. Otherwise, pretty much a drop in, oem looking engine. Cost would be around $800-$1000.

2. Buy a JDM SR20DET front clip from an importer. This is the engine used in the Silvia or 240sx in Japan. Stock HP is ~210. This engine is turbocharged and with mods can hit 300 HP fairly easy. Cost is $1600. By the time I'm done, figure $2K if I do all the work myself. Downside: Some parts like the ECU are not available in the US, so if an ECU goes, it's not a trip to the local junkyard or Nissan dealer for some parts. Requires significant mods to the the front cross member and motor mounts, customization of some parts like throttle cable stops and a shitload of wiring to get it to work.

3. Use the KA24E Paulito can get me for free. This is out of either a Nissan Hardbody or first gen US spec 240sx. HP is around 160. Same downsides as the SR20DET above, but it is free. Since it's a normally aspirated 2.4 liter, should be a very torquey street engine and could be modded with lower compression pistons and a turbo.

option one sounds the most interesting and true to the car. keep the webers!

Minimum of 4oz meat a day. Cow, chicken, pig, fish, or whatever, it doesn't matter. 8oz would be better. It can even be very lean. For muscle growth, more is better.

Bone growth, calcium, in any form in at least 3X the minimum daily requirement. I've actually started to take calcium supplements due to no longer being able to drink milk.

speaking of soy, I just ate a few sushi that I picked up at the store yesterday, with soy sauce - there was MSG in it and the rice was not sticky

but true to style, I used chop sticks

Because of its unusual properties, molasses has several uses beyond that of a straightforward food additive. It can be used as a chelating agent to remove rust, as the base material for fermentation into rum, as the carbon source for in situ remediation of chlorinated hydrocarbons, and it can even be mixed with sand to make mortar for brickwork.
