I assumed he was using one username and trying to get around the 30 seconds by using two computers, then guessed the reason it didn't work was because they shared a router, which I think is wrong.

You can be logged into MUD with a single username on multiple computers simultaneously. I am logged in at home and work simultaneously continuously.

Actually I was going with Yoopers post time stamp theory. It made sense since I was logged in as rusty_tlc on both machines.

Trying to get to the 1K mark fast remember? Two usernames would defeat the purpose.

But it would let me test the IP theory. Even on the same machine you could be running mud in two tabs under two user names. Or could you?

I don't think you can do that with tabs, since the browser sets a cookie to keep you logged in.

You could do it with two different browsers though.

ok, i misunderstood. I thought you had been blocked out from trying to post to two different accounts on the same IP within 30 seconds. I think it does do that unless woody unblocks you.

btw, why would you think that would work for a single user account obviously the software is going to be timing out your account posting privileges at source regardless of where the command comes from.

Separate instances of the browser running on the same machine let you log in under different user names.

On this I have to agree with you 1000% x TUT! I don't know who the hell the director was but he was merciless... he had three cameras on the floor and no matter where she went to try to escape them, one of them would get right in her face... the interview with the team on Good Morning America was equally as crass. I had to wonder who in the heck is yelling into the ear of the interviewer not to let the poor young woman off the hook.
