I have one for my circa 1955 kitchenaid.

I use it fairly often, I loves me some breakfast sausage but don't need the saturated fat. I grind well trimed pork loin up and season it. It's so lean you have to spray the pan with olive oil to keep it from sticking.

Never used the Cuisinart so I can't compare the two. One thing is you can get a sauage stuffing attachment for the Kitchenaid grinder so that may be a factor. You can also double grind the meat so it comes out very fine.

Time to make a quick trip to the DMV.

Long story about my FJ40 registration woes will be forthcoming.

You have been warned!

What do you use for casing? Where do you get it?

That is a lot of stuff to be getting rid of. Maybe he quit. Then again, I'm not sure how they operate. Maybe he is required to equip himself for his assignments, and these are excess inventory from past gigs that already have been paid for? Since he probably will have an expense account for any future gigs, why not sell stuff that is taking up space? I mean, it's not like the next job is going to be about saving money.

We have the Kitchen Aid attachment. Fine for small batches, though the meat needs to be almost frozen to grind well.

Your answer, while undoubtedly more accurate, was much less interesting than mine.

When he was living in Amsterdam for a year supervising a yacht build he bought a 928S and for some reason put French plates on it. Everyone there assumed he was a drug dealer with the Porsche and French plates and nearly everyone he met was scared of him.

Doesn't pass thru the grinder well and kinda turns to mush. Stringy mush. Though my only experience was with wild pig(very lean).

She has in the past. She found that the store bought phyllo was 80% as good and 1% as much work.

Now I am having a leftover grilled brat. I can still taste the beer that it was boiled in.

Also some cold baked beans that I'm eating right out of the storage container with a fork.

For dessert more berries and ice cream.

Sometimes it's good to be the host.

I just make patty sausage, I prefer it for breakfast anyway.

I think there are a couple of places on-line that sell casings, natural and artificial.

I've never had problems with refer temp meat?

I agree I wouldn't ant to grind twenty pounds of meat with ours but it works okay for three or four pounds, which is about the size batch we make.

DMV took way longer than usual. I go to the CDL office around the corner. It's usually empty during the day. Today of course there were five ahead of me.
