To me thats why superstars in any field who remain down to earth and well adjusted are so amazing.

I also understand it but found the third place finisher that was interviewed had a much more refreshing attitude... she said you try for the best but also have to be happy when you know that you did the best you could do under the circumstances. It is wrong (IMHO) to think of someone as a loser if they stumble in their event. The athlete that is one of the most respected (by me) is the guy that finished the race with his father helping him... he said something like my country didn't pay to get me here to see me start a race... it did it to see me finish the race. He was so injured I have no idea how he even managed it with the help of his father. But that is fortitude and attitude that I respect.

My rule at home is no more than one serving of alcohol an hour. My rule out with friends is three. I had a few shots of that limoncello, it was pretty smooth. But I know ours has really fucked some people up.

It seems to be particularly prevalent in the team and judged sports--only the gold is good enough. WTF? I finished third in the hash run, and I'm happy. I'm just glad there were no fatalities.

Patella, hamstring, or cadaver. Hamstring is the strongest graft.

Just read in the paper, someone in a '71 Landcruiser died in a crash yesterday in Grass Valley...

But now you've fucked up your hamstring. At least that gives you an excuse to have some chick jam her fingers around in that area. That is, a chick that doesn't have an inflate valve.
