Lawn mowed, drive blown, ass washed, Advil taken (for the back) and 60 Minute IPA opened. I have a bit of mail to go through (fun stuff - Handyman and Brew News) and I have to sew a buton on a pair of shorts. Another casualty of the week. And the last load of laundry is in.
I guess I should go screw around with the web site for a while.
Grrl: Do you know of any good search engine submission software?

Hugh has a freshly mowed lawn and a clean ass.
Is that code?

Maybe I'll have morning snack first, I wouldn't want to rush into anything.

She simply was not strong enough to steer it. Shifting was hard for her too.
I'm trying to figure out how to remedy the potential problem you point out. I think I can probably sit behind her on the ST90 and teach her to ride it, giving her more freedom to make decisions as she improves...
The way I learned successfully in such things (lawnmower, car, motorcycle, etc.) was that I simply was given instructions and use of the item and free reign to do whatever I wanted, with the understanding that damage was to be expected, as long as it was accidental and not the result of foolishness. There were some real "oh shit" moments, but I learned from them. That works for my personality, though (and for my son)--Mary might be different (as is my daughter). I hate to acknowledge gender differences, but I seem to see the will to mastery as having a slight gender bias. (Dr. Cloudy excepted. I think she'd whip a horse to death in trying to get it to jump off a cliff. )
The ST is pretty heavy for Mary to muscle around, but is there any place flat where she can putter around in first gear, making turns? If she can straddle the bike with her feet flat on the ground, and learn simply to stand up if she can't stop the bike from tipping over, she might be able to master the basics that way. Of course, I'd remove the sideview mirrors, first.

She is. She's a wonderful kid. I think the fact that she was so upset over "breaking" the ATV only illustrates that fact. It seems to me that a lot of kids I've met wouldn't think twice about it if they had an accident and damaged someone else's property. The fact that Mary did speaks volumes about her character and the way she was raised.

V-8 and canned fish, with a few ritz crackers.
Ummm Ummm good!

It's a "deep V" handle, allowing the skier to use the rope to assist in centering the single ski on startup; it also can be used like a regular rope, between double skis.
Stange, never saw he text. I was in and out of service. Who knows. That piece finally fell off but the platic bag saved it. I am going to take all that metal off and see if I can get some fabbed locally. If it looks like it will be ez I may put it on Mud for sale.
