For a trailer go with a traditional awning, as you have found out they are a pretty good deal compared the the car port.
After using th carport I have to say I love it but I would never pay what they are asking for them. I got mine on a special close out at Costco for $80 shipped, at that price they rock. At the usual $300+ price tag I could live with a poly tarp and some cheap tent poles.

A few years ago I remember $300 for one of the smaller manual roll up awnings. I can't justify making one for that.

My favorite bartender at my favorite gayman video bar made me a Manhattan last weekend, that was basically a high ball full of maker's mark with a splash of sweet vermouth and 2 dashes of bitters.
It was perfect.

BTW did you see the post I made about Leon Russel doing a cover CD of Hank Sr. songs?
If you listen to Hank Sr. you understand a lot more of Hank Jr.'s stuff.

I usually drink whiskey straight, sweet vermouth kills a lot of the harshness of cheap crap. Thats about the only reason I like a manhatten.

I didn't have to search long. RV Awnings & Accessories (don't know the quality) Look down the page for "bag awnings". 7' deep, 6' to 14' wide $250 to $372. These roll up and then are zipped into a bag that hangs off the side of the RV/whatever. They even have walls for them.

I agree, I spent ~$90 out the door for one. Otherwise I would use poles and a regular tarp. I am in the market for another tarp for over the cooking area.
I already set up two other tarps in areas that I expect rain (awnings for the two tents). No wonder it takes us three hours from wake up to starting the truck to break camp.

One thing though, that design kind of communicates a really laid back, dreamy feel. Is that what you are looking for?

I was kind of going for imagination and aspiration.
Actually, this one is growing on me:
Just thinking about simplicity, and how it'll reproduce in small sizes, etc.
I'm thinking with a few font tweaks and a color change, we might be on our way to a winner.
BTW these are for my web design business, if it helps any. It's do for a fresher, more vibrant look.
