Man I could get used to this working from home thing. So relaxing, so stress free, so noticeably devoid of airplanes, airports, hotels and rental car agencies...

Ok man I generally take everything you say with a grain of salt, as its just good natured ribbing between friends.

That comment, however, was below the belt

I'm obviously going to need multiple consecutive bong hits to recover my poise and equilibrium.

Yes, my grandfather made the shroud with the propeller. Supposedly it was to keep the spies from seeing that they had a jet under development.

Grandpa used to work for Fisher Body and did custom car interiors for them. Along came the Depression and he was out of work. So he started his own business in the basement of his house and ended up a big military contractor.

He had lost his index finger in WWI and they wanted to give him disability but he refused it. He figured out that he could charge more for gov't contracts by hiring the disabled to run his sewing machines. He had quite a few women who were in wheelchairs or with canes or crutches in his employ. As a kid, I used to hang around his shop in Hicksville because we lived in the Farmhouse on the property where the shop was. The old women used to but me Coca-Colas for a nickel out of the machine.

The machine looked exactly like this:

My brother and I were not tall enough to reach the door to get the sodas and the ladies would lift us up. It became like Pavlov though. Every time the machine clanked, my grandfather would come out of the office to see if my brother or I were bumming sodas. We would get a good scolding and he would take away the coke. I accused him of stealing our cokes (that went over well).

I’m a little dream-self, short and stout.

I’m the other half of Bruce — when he lets me out.

When I get all steamed up, I don’t pout.

I push Bruce aside, then I’m free to run about!

Yeah, I get plenty of fat in my diet, and I'm not nearly active enough to use it all. It could use a little paring down.

No need to go freelance, just join the Borg I work for. They told us we're not going to have cube space anymore. So it's either work from home or crash the local coffee shop with free wifi.

I spent entire days in front of a laptop at Starbucks during grad school. No thanks.

It needs to be built on a copper cored PCB for heat dissipation. AL core isn't quite good enough. I literally make a PCB with a copper core. The core handles coil power + and - as well as being the primary heat conductor. Great for heat dissipation, bitch to make. I'm not sure I could have somebody else make them due to cost.
