I need tunable projectile speed. I also need a circuit that can be duplicated a bunch of times in the coil gun and not need to be specifically calibrated. For this coil gun it will be handling the whole coil gun. For the next one I'd use 64 of these controllers. Yeah, it also has to be cheap.

A new coil gun. Here is one I did a few years back. No "pfft", just THUD as it hits the target. I want to do a much higher powered version of the one I did before. Then i have a few other designs I want to try out.

I don't have the equipment to debug stuff like that. Anyways I want to do it using switched reluctance motor concepts as then the controller could be used for a SR motor also. If I ever made the hybrid electric tractor, the hub motors would be SR motors.
